INTRODUCTION

​

The Government of Alberta may permanently increase the posted speed on sections of some Alberta highways. from 110 km/h to 120 km/h.  For the information of road users, collision totals by severity for these four candidates

• QEII: Highway 2 between Calgary and Edmonton

• 43: 16 to GP: Highway 43 from Highway 16 (Yellowhead) to Grande Prairie

• 63: 55 to FM: Highway 63 from Highway 55 to Fort McMurray

• 63: FM North: Highway 63 north of Fort McMurray

are tabled below.
